What's new with troupeIT, October 2026

From the booth

If you have ever called places with one hand on a clipboard and the other on a headset, you already know why this job exists. The show looks easy because somebody checked the doors, the names, and the paperwork before the house opened. troupeIT is that work, taken off the clipboard and put where the whole company can see it. This past month we tightened two things you actually touch, and we swept up under the deck so the rest of the building stays standing.

Your sign-in sheet grew up

In Settings, under Devices & Activity, your recent visits now read like a proper stage-door log. A successful sign-in shows the device, the time, the city, and the way you came in: a password, your authenticator app, or a passkey with its name on it. The session you are using is marked, so your laptop is easy to tell from the machine somebody left open in the booth after notes. New accounts show up on that same list, right beside the visits.

That page is your own successful visits, written so a strange city or an unfamiliar device stands out. Alongside it, the account now keeps the misses too: a wrong password, a second factor that did not match, and a password reset from the request through the moment the new one sticks. When a passkey opens the door, we write down which key it was. Companies share laptops. Cast members borrow phones. A clear trail is how you keep the right people in the building.

Ask for help without leaving the wings

A lot of support notes still arrive by email, typed on a phone between cues. When that email comes from the address on your troupeIT account, it opens a ticket. Stay in the lobby. Send the note. We typically write back within a day.

Mail from an address we do not recognize gets a short, warm reply with a direct link to the support page, where we can see who is asking. Already in the middle of a conversation? Reply on that thread. It still lands on the ticket you opened. The line stays easy for people in the company, and your note has room to be read.

Under the deck

We also patched a batch of library vulnerabilities in the tools that carry data through the app. That is the dimmer-rack work. You feel it when opening night stays about the show, because the gear underneath already got its notes.

If your company is still passing a spreadsheet around the green room, come stand in the booth with us. The cues, the people, and the paperwork belong in one place. The door is open. troupeIT is here for you.
